SCM has been busy providing food for earthquake survivors in northern Syria. We recently sent our partner in Turkey money which was used to buy food that was prepared in meals for Ramadan, and also uncooked items so the families can prepare their own meals. This most recent distribution provided food for 200 families, about 50 of them which have taken in orphans or relatives whose parents were killed in the earthquakes. The team is also planning to distribute the ingredients to make maamoul cookies to the women so they can make their own cookies for Eid celebrations (the end of Ramadan).
