Lebanon Free Clinic
In 2023 SCM Medical Missions opened a medical and dental clinic in Sidon, Lebanon that is serving the needs of disadvantaged Lebanese and refugees who are not able to get medical care due to the economic crisis in the country. This is one of our biggest projects going forward.
Due to the economic collapse in the country, so many people are unable to access primary medical and dental care. Our clinic is for those in need and we will try to help as many people as we can, especially women and children.
We also provide mental health care, particularly for children traumatized by conflict and economic uncertainty.
To keep the clinic staffed and operating we estimate the cost will be about $5000 per month. We encourage volunteer doctors, dentists, and nurses to come and help out for a week or so. We need to continue to raise funds for the clinic to ensure that the people in need there will have access and can get general care.
