From Your Hands to Gaza
A Journey of Hope Finally Arrives
Do you remember March 7, 2025? It feels like ages ago, but that was the day our incredible team of volunteers came together to load up a shipping container bound for Gaza. It was a powerful day—filled with hope, purpose, and a lot of heavy lifting! Together, we packed wheelchairs, walkers, and other mobility aids, along with medical supplies, warm blankets, and essential items for families struggling to survive. (Gaza Container Amazon List)
We cheered as the container pulled away, beginning its long journey to the port and then across the ocean to Aqaba, Jordan. We hoped for a swift delivery—but the months dragged on.
Here are a few photos to remind you of that day.
Finally, after more than three long months, we are thrilled to report that the container has arrived safely in Amman. The delay, likely due to global shipping disruptions, tested our patience, but not our resolve.
From here, the donations will continue their journey—traveling to the Israeli border and, at last, into Gaza, where they are so desperately needed. These supplies will bring real comfort and care to people facing unimaginable hardship.
Thank you to everyone who donated, volunteered, and stayed hopeful with us. Your compassion is crossing borders.
Take a look at a few photos from that day in March, and new photos from Amman where the container was just unloaded—a reminder of the difference we can make when we come together.
We are planning our next container in about a month, so stay tuned for updates about the loading party. Meanwhile, we still need donations to fill the container. We can only take NEW wheelchairs now, due to a new regulation in Jordan, so please order from our Amazon list or other retailer to be sent to our office. We are completely out in our garage!
