Lebanon Relief Fund
One of our biggest projects for 2023 will be to maintain the medical and dental clinics we are opening in Lebanon. After the explosion at the Port of Beirut and the economic collapse in the country, so many people are still unable to access primary medical and dental care. Our clinic will be for those in need and we will try to help as many people as we can especially women and children. Visit our project page to request information on volunteering.
To keep the medical and dental clinics staffed and operating we estimate the cost will be about $5000 per month. Once they are open, we will have opportunities for medical and dental professionals to come and help out for a week or so. We need to continue to raise funds for the clinic to ensure that the people in need there will have access and can get general care.
We will also continue to provide food aid and other support to those in need in Lebanon. We will be sending people with room in their luggage with needed supplies that will be for the clinic as well as for the families outside the clinic – blankets, hats, gloves, socks, small toys for the children, solar lanterns, and more. You can help by donating, or if you plan to travel to Lebanon, taking a suitcase with you that we will fill up and then have someone meet you at the airport to take the bag and get it to our distribution center.
