Bringing Hope Across Lebanon: Humanitarian Aid Saving Lives from North to South
Your donations are making a life-changing impact across Lebanon. From the region north of Beirut, near Tripoli, to the southern city of Sidon, SCM teams are delivering essential food, water, blankets, and medical aid to those displaced by the conflict.
We sent $5500 to our team in northern Lebanon shortly after the fundraiser event and they have prepared food boxes for families taking refuge in local schools. Each box cost $30 and will be distributed to 175 families. The remaining $250 after the purchase of the contents for each box was used for expenses related to the preparation of the boxes and to pay for a few workers that helped with the packing of the boxes. These boxes will be distributed over the next few days.
Each box contains the following:
- Tea and coffee
- 2 kg of rice
- 1 kg of sugar
- 5 packs of pasta
- 5 cans of tuna
- 2 kg of salt
- 3 cans of beans
- 3 cans of hummus
- A bottle each of ketchup, mayonnaise, and oil
- 5 boxes of cheese
- A selection of juices, cakes, and wafers
- 2 packs of mortadella
- 1 kg of thyme
- 1 box of flour
In southern Lebanon, where families are fleeing escalating violence, the SCM Medical Center in Sidon is stepping up to meet urgent needs. With over 10,000 displaced families now seeking refuge in Sidon, the clinic is holding a health event led by our dedicated medical team. Dr. Salah is providing health checks to students in local schools, Dr. Ali is offering dental care, and Dr. Renim is conducting mental health workshops. Additionally, SCM has launched a winter warmth campaign to distribute warm clothing, blankets, diapers, food, and medical supplies, offering comfort and support as the colder months approach.
Thanks to your support, these lifesaving efforts are possible. Your donations are changing lives across Lebanon.
